About the Mission

The Duqm-2 campaign marked a milestone in partnership with Stellar Kinetics. Etlaq established the mission’s ground infrastructure including constructing a new integration hangar and developing a custom launch pad and ground segment, while supporting Stellar Kinetics in coordinating local and international logistics and securing regulatory approvals within Oman’s Civil Aviation framework.

Together, the Etlaq and Stellar Kinetics teams completed two full launch attempts, including setting up the Kea-1 on the pad, loading the propellant, and defueling, proving operating abilities in the midsummer conditions of the Middle East. The campaign validated Etlaq’s operational systems and range coordination, while highlighting Stellar Kinetics’ engineering agility, rapid development pace, and successful achievement of key mission objectives.
