WHO WE ARE
Etlaq is Oman’s first commercial spaceport, located in Wilayat Al Duqm on the eastern coast of Oman. Positioned at 18° latitude, Etlaq offers an optimal launch location with access to Equatorial, Sun-Synchronous (SSO), Polar, Medium Earth (MEO), and Geostationary Transfer (GTO) orbits. The coastal location and downrange clearance ensure safe and efficient launch operations while minimizing environmental impact.
Etlaq is committed to safety and sustainability, implementing strict safety protocols, controlled exclusion zones, and eco-conscious energy solutions to support responsible spaceflight. The spaceport also works closely with regulators to establish a commercial-friendly space industry, fostering innovation and global collaboration.
